Temple's basketball legacy is an unquestioned part of Temple Athletics. This past season, we saw tremendous success from our women's basketball program. In order for Temple Women's Basketball to continue to achieve success on a national level and to perpetuate its impact on student-athletes and the university as a whole, we need your support. We are looking for individuals to make a commitment to fund the margin of excellence for our program and solidify the future of Temple Women's Basketball. In order to remain competitive, we need to challenge ourselves to exceed our highest expectations. We need your help to achieve our team goals of participating in foreign tours, competing in the NCAA Women's Basketball Championship and excelling in academics.
The Temple Women's Basketball team will have the opportunity to participate in a foreign tour as they travel to Rome, Italy and Paris, France this coming summer from August 14 to August 23. This trip will provide a unique educational opportunity for our student-athletes to experience different cultures, expose our team to high-level, international competition, and foster team-building in a competitive environment. A Temple University professor will be joining the team on the trip as they visit historical landmarks both in Rome and Paris.
This is the first time our Women's Program will make such a trip and your financial support is critical to allowing our team to have this enriching educational experience.
